About “Below the Root”

Through his observations and growing awareness, Raamo uncovers long-standing deceptions within the society he is part of. The story follows his journey as he seeks truth and understanding in a world where beliefs and power shape the lives of its people. The novel was written by Zilpha Keatley Snyder and published in 1975.
