Two sisters arrive in the small California resort town of Snowfield to find it eerily deserted, with the few residents they discover either dead in grotesque ways or simply gone. As a sheriff and a handful of others investigate, they realize an ancient, intelligent predator is responsible, and that escaping its reach may be impossible.
