Carly Beth's Halloween mask is so ugly, but she can't seem to get it off after she scares some of the boys in her neighborhood. The mask sticks to her face and refuses to come off, causing her embarrassment and fear. As she tries to remove it, she becomes more distressed, realizing she is trapped. The situation grows more alarming as she struggles to free herself. The story focuses on her panic and the challenges she faces while dealing with the unremovable mask.
