Caterer Goldy Schulz takes a new job preparing breakfasts and snacks for a law firm, but finds paralegal Dusty Routt, who was also her friend and neighbor, dead one night. Dusty's grieving mother asks Goldy to find the killer. While catering a lawyer's party, Goldy overhears an incriminating conversation and uncovers clues, becoming entangled with a dangerous suspect.
