Troy Barrett is traded to the worst team in the league, adding to the challenges he already faces after a messy breakup and a recent scandal. He wants to focus on hockey and avoid the spotlight, especially the team’s social media manager’s push for him to work on his online presence. Harris Drover notices Troy’s reluctance and doesn’t give up on him, despite Troy’s standoffish attitude. Harris develops a crush, which he believes is one-sided, but he is drawn to Troy’s rare moments of warmth. As Troy begins to open up, Harris finds himself unable to walk away.
