Fighting Fantasy is a series of single-player fantasy roleplay gamebooks created by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. The first book was published by Puffin in 1982. In 2002, the rights to the series were bought by Wizard Books. Each book featured a fantasy role-playing element, with the cover stating that the reader was the hero.
