Father Brown is a series of detective short story collections by English writer G. K. Chesterton, featuring the small Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who solves crimes using intuition and psychological/theological insight rather than physical evidence. Fifty stories were published in five collections during Chesterton's lifetime (1911-1935), with two further stories discovered posthumously.
