About “Envy”

Detective Thomas "Veck" DelVecchio, Jr. grew up as the son of a serial killer, living in the shadow of his father's crimes. Now, he walks the line between his duty as a homicide detective and his personal struggle with the sins of his family. He is assigned to be monitored by Internal Affairs officer Sophia Reilly, who has both professional and personal interest in him. Veck and Sophia also share a connection through Jim Heron, a mysterious man who seems to know too much. The story explores themes of guilt, redemption, and hidden ties.
