Daedalus's Children is a 2004 novel by Dave Stern. Crippled by a freak accident, Enterprise crosses into an alternate universe, into the middle of a civil war set off by a brutal warlord using technology stolen from the Daedalus to enslave his people. Captain Archer and crew are forcibly removed from their ship, imprisoned, and brutalized by their captors.
