About “Death on Sunday”
Death on Sunday is a 1939 detective novel by John Rhode, the pen name of British writer Cecil Street. It is the thirty-first book in a series featuring Lancelot Priestley, a well-known character from the Golden Age of Detective Fiction. While Priestley is a central figure, much of the investigation is carried out by Inspector Jimmy Waghorn of Scotland Yard.
