About “Arctic Drift”

A potential breakthrough discovery to reverse global warming is linked to a series of unexplained sudden deaths in British Columbia and a rash of international incidents between the United States and one of its closest allies, threatening to escalate into a shooting war. NUMA director Dirk Pitt and his children, Dirk Jr. and Summer, suspect a connection but have little time to uncover it. Their only clue is a mysterious silvery mineral traced to a long-ago expedition searching for the fabled Northwest Passage. That mission ended in tragedy, with no survivors.
