About “Demon in My View”

Jessica is a teenage author who writes under the pen name Ash Night. Her vampire novel, Tiger, Tiger, has just been published, but she keeps her identity a secret from her classmates at Ramsa High. She feels like an outsider and longs for the comfort of the fictional world she creates. Two new students arrive—Caryn, who is overly friendly, and Alex, who is charming and mysterious. Jessica is drawn to Alex, who reminds her of a character from her book. She wonders if the character, Aubrey, has come to life. The story is a suspenseful follow-up to In the Forests of the Night, written by the young author Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.
