Dark Visions is a trilogy of young adult fiction written by L. J. Smith in the mid-1990s. The story follows Kaitlyn Fairchild as she attends the Zetes Institute, a place where she goes to explore her psychic abilities. At the institute, she meets four other young psychics, who are the most powerful in their age group across the country. The group comes from different parts of the U.S. and forms a close friendship.
