About “On What Grounds”
Clare Cosi returns after ten years to manage the historic Village Blend coffeehouse in Greenwich Village at the urging of owner Madame. On her first morning back, she finds assistant manager Anabelle unconscious amid scattered coffee grounds. Detective Mike Quinn calls it an accident, but Clare's suspicions about the trash bin's position suggest otherwise.
