About “Children of the Jedi”
The Callista trilogy consists of three science fiction novels set in the Star Wars universe, featuring the character Callista Ming, an ex-Jedi. Though not officially labeled a trilogy, the books are commonly considered one. They begin several months after the Jedi Academy trilogy, or eight years after Return of the Jedi. The first novel, Children of the Jedi (1995), was written by Barbara Hambly. The second, Darksaber (1995), was written by Kevin J. Anderson. Hambly also wrote the third book, Planet of Twilight (1997). After Lucasfilm was acquired by Disney in 2012, the books were rebranded as Star Wars Legends.
