About “Buffy”

Willow spends a cold winter morning along the coast as a volunteer with a rescue team cleaning up an oil spill that has harmed the marine environment. While exploring rocks, she finds a selkie, a shape-shifting seal girl, who cannot return to the sea until the oil is removed from her coat. Willow brings the selkie, named "Ariel" by the group, to the library for help from Giles and the Slayerettes in restoring her magical coat. Although Ariel is charming and innocent, Buffy remains wary of the creature, sensing the unpredictability of her nature. Meanwhile, the oil spill has also displaced other sea creatures, including merrows, who resemble mermaids but have a dangerous secret. The situation becomes more complex as the group deals with these unexpected challenges.
