The third edition of The Sedges of the British Isles has been published, offering an expanded and updated resource on sedges found in Britain and Ireland. The book includes 35 species that were not previously described, covering all known British and Irish sedges, as well as all confirmed hybrids. Each species and hybrid entry is accompanied by a distribution map. The book features introductory chapters on structure, classification, ecology, and hybridisation, followed by keys, detailed entries, a glossary, bibliography, and indices for both English and Latin names.
