About “The Barrakee Mystery”
The Barrakee Mystery (1929) is a novel by Australian writer Arthur Upfield. It is the second book he wrote and his first crime novel. The story introduces Detective Inspector Napoleon 'Bony' Bonaparte, a character who appears in many of Upfield's later works. The book was first published in the UK by Hutchinson in 1929.
