About “The Book Stops Here”
In The Book Stops Here, Brooklyn Wainwright appears on a TV show called This Old Attic as a rare-book expert, appraising a valuable first-edition copy of The Secret Garden owned by flower vendor Vera. A man later claims Vera found the book at his garage sale and demands it back. Host Randolph Rayburn fears he's being stalked by the show's fired former creator, and violent incidents follow, including Vera's murder.
