About “You Will Go to the Moon”

You Will Go To The Moon is a children's book written by Mae and Ira Freeman and illustrated by Robert Patterson. It was published in 1959, ten years before the first crewed Moon landing. The book was reprinted in England in 1962 under the same title. A second edition was released in 1971, featuring new illustrations that reflected NASA's Project Apollo. This second edition was also reprinted in England in 1973, but under the title Going to the Moon. The book focuses on spaceflight and was intended for young readers.
