Ray Bradbury

Ray Bradbury was an American author and screenwriter who lived from 1920 to 2012. He is known for his extensive body of work, which includes more than five hundred published pieces such as short stories, novels, plays, screenplays, television scripts, and verse. His writings are celebrated for reflecting the American imagination at its most creative. Bradbury's most famous books are The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. These works are considered masterpieces and have left a lasting impression on readers. He was honored with the National Book Foundation's 2000 Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters and the National Medal of Arts in 2004.
