Martin H. Greenberg

Martin Harry Greenberg (March 1, 1941 – June 25, 2011) was an American academic and anthologist known for his work in multiple genres, particularly speculative fiction. He compiled 1,298 anthologies and commissioned more than 8,200 original short stories. Greenberg founded Tekno Books, a publishing company responsible for more than 2,000 published books. He was also a co-founder of the Sci-Fi Channel. In addition to his work in science fiction and fantasy, Greenberg was an expert in terrorism and the Middle East. He was a longtime friend, colleague, and business partner of Isaac Asimov.
