Christine Feehan

3 series 43 books in order 1999–2018

Christine King is an American writer born in California. She grew up with 10 sisters and 3 brothers. She often got in trouble at school for writing instead of completing assigned tasks. Later, she made her sisters read every word she wrote. She has described herself as a writer all her life, emphasizing her deep fascination with the written word and storytelling. She reads widely, including encyclopedias, and considers it a privilege to be a storyteller. Living in Lake County, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and rafting. She has also practiced martial arts for years, holding a third-degree black belt in a Korean karate system and teaching self-defense. She published her first novel, Dark Prince, in 1999, which launched a paranormal saga. The novel won three of the nine Paranormal Excellence Awards in Romantic Literature for that year and earned her seven PEARL awards. She has received other honors, including a nomination for the RWA's RITA and a Career Achievement Award from Romantic Times. She is married to Richard Feehan, and together they have 11 children, each from previous marriages, as well as numerous grandchildren. Her daughters help her edit her manuscripts.
