In this post-apocalyptic sci-fi story, humanity has been devastated by giant, mysterious humanoids called Titans that kill and consume people. For a century, the last of mankind has hidden behind 50-meter-high walls in a three-walled city, until the sudden appearance of an immense Titan changes everything. The series won the 2011 Kodansha Manga Award (Shonen) and was nominated for the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize for 2012.
