About “Passion”

Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar is a short story collection by Maurice Leblanc, first published on 10 June 1907. It includes the first nine stories featuring the character Arsène Lupin, who was initially introduced in the French magazine Je sais tout. The first story was published on 15 July 1905. The seventh story in the collection features the English detective Sherlock Holmes, but in later publications, the name was changed to "Herlock Sholmes" due to concerns from Arthur Conan Doyle's lawyers. This change is reflected in the second collection, Arsène Lupin versus Herlock Sholmes. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
