About “Rainbow Valley”
Rainbow Valley is the seventh book in the Anne of Green Gables series, published in 1919, though it was the fifth in the series. The story shifts focus from Anne Shirley to her six children, exploring their experiences and relationships. The children interact with the children of John Meredith, a new neighbor and Presbyterian minister. The novel reflects elements of Lucy Maud Montgomery's life, particularly her time at the Leaskdale Manse, where she wrote many of her works. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
