About “King Solomon's Mines”
King Solomon's Mines is an 1885 novel by H. Rider Haggard, published by Cassell and Company. It follows an expedition led by Allan Quatermain, who searches for the missing brother of a fellow adventurer in an unexplored part of Africa. The story is one of the first English adventure novels set in Africa and is considered the beginning of the lost world genre.
