Alex Rider's life changed after the events of Never Say Die, when the criminal organization Scorpia was destroyed. He hoped for a return to normal life, focusing on school and friends. However, a new and dangerous group, Nightshade, emerges, threatening to disrupt his peace. Alex must once again face the dangers of the spy world.
